My name is Yvette Boucher, and my business is Lil Learners Luv Learning. I taught kindergarten for 20 years, and I love to teach! I have a teaching license in the state of Minnesota. My teaching style is hands-on. I like to make learning fun. I also love to help children and adults become confident, successful learners. Teaching reading is a multifaceted process that requires a blend of patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners. My approach begins with assessing each student's current reading level and understanding their interests to tailor the learning experience. I incorporate a mix of phonics, vocabulary building, and comprehension strategies to develop foundational skills. Using engaging materials such as stories, interactive activities, and technology, I aim to make reading enjoyable and relevant. Regular feedback and positive reinforcement are crucial to building confidence, while these sessions allow me to address specific challenges. By fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment, I strive to instill a lifelong love for reading in my students.
Have fun helping your child without having to do all the researching and planning. All the planning will be done for you by a certified teacher including the standards that your child needs to know to succeed.
Your child will love learning with a hands-on approach! We use many materials that will not only make learning fun, but will also help your child with their fine motor skills.
Your child will learn the skills they need to become a successful reader! Some of these reading skills are phonemic awareness, letter names, letter sounds, blending, and sight words. Once they have the basics, we will move on to guided reading!
Over time, your child will learn independence. They will began to do more skills and be able to do more work on their own.
During our learning time, your child will participate in music and movement learning activities. Research has shown music and movement incorporated in learning has many benefits.
Art will also be incorporated in your child's learning. This is another opportunity for them to use their fine motor skills. They will learn not only how to follow directions, but also use their creativity!
